Can an attorney cash checks made out to his client’s name by their auto ins. co? no comments

Hi! An attorney that was representing me on a personal injury protection case, received checks, made out to me, from my insurance co. to cover PIP expenses being that I paid all medical bills. He then cashed checks while telling me he hadn’t received any money from ins.. After finding out that our ins. co. had sent him checks, four months prior, made out to me, I contacted him. He then sent me a check, from his own checking account, to cover those checks. His response: that attys. could hold checks for months - he didn’t say anything about cashing them.
Is what he did allowed by law? I’m in Texas. Check was not made out to both of us, just me. I thank you in advance for your assistance.

* 50 watts RMS
# .75″ Pure Silk Dome Tweeter
# Frequency Response: 60Hz - 20-KHz
# Sensitivity: 88 dB
# 10 oz. Barium Ferrite Woofer Magnet
Rear:
2.SPL CX653S 6-1/2″ 180W 3-Way Chrome Speakers
- 18oz magnet
- 1″ voice coil
- SPL 91dB
- Imp. 4ohm
- Freq. Resp. 60Hz - 20KHz
- Polymide midrange
- Superior Dome Tweeter.
My question for those who know sound: which one is better and I should go with? I’m not too crazy about loud bass, just want to listen to music in the car. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Ever since they got rid of yahoo photos and went to Flicker, I cannot share my photos. Yes, I did everything that I was told to do and have a flicker account and album. yes I contacted customer services at both sites, all I got were some auto replies and the 1 “live” response was a milksop echo of the auto replies telling me to go through the setup walk through(which I had already done before contacting customer services.).
