AWeber or GetResponse, which autoresponder was it for you?   1 comment

Hi, I was thinking for quite a long time about starting to build email lists and I made my choice:

http://blog-money-wiki.com/blog/2007/10/how-to-choose-between-aweber-or-getresponse-autoresponders-email-course.php

My main reason was: foreign language support. That’s it, I didn’t find much more things on which to base my decision.. So naturally my question is: which autoresponder did you choose and why?
Cheers, James

  1. Nice Blog very pro. I agree all the features are very similar and getting better all the time. Foreign language support is just not high on my list of priorites to tell you the truth, I have enough trouble focusing on my english speaking market. The price is only a matter of a few dollars difference (all ads up of course) You do save a bit more signing up for a year with getresponse. (see below)

    Getresponse Monthly $17.95
    Getresponse Quarterly $47.85(save $6.00)
    Getresponse Semi-Annually $87.70 (save $20.00)
    Getresponse Yearly $145.40 (save $70.00)

    Aweber Monthly $19.95
    Aweber Quarterly $53.85 (save $6.00)
    Aweber Semi-Annually $101.70 (save $18.00)
    Aweber Yearly $179.40 (save $60.00)

This is for a list of 10,000 each charges more with larger list which can make getresponse even cheaper as they charge per 5,000 clients rather than one
    Getresponse $4.50 for 5000 Aweber $9.95 10,000

At the end of the day I did the trial with both but signed up with getresponse (mainly to save a few bucks) You also get a few more email marketing bonuses (which I have only half watched anyway).
So its all up to you I say, they are so evenly matched it all comes down to your preferences, if you really like one interface over the other let that decide for you, if you want to save a few bucks go with getresponse. Give the trials a go to find out. I dont believe awebers deliverability by the way but its still good.
I am happy with getresponse and their service.
    I hope my rambling helps.
