When to send that follow up email for interviews?   1 comment

I rec’d an email from a (company I’ve applied for) recruiter requesting a phone screen interview on late Thurs afternoon, in reply from me on Friday morning I suggested that following Monday between morning/afternoon hours. Haven’t heard anything on their end, my question is, when or do I send that follow up email regarding an available time to contact me?

  1. You should send a follow up as soon as you can. Be very nice and polite. If you don’t hear from them, and if you have a phone number, try calling.

This is important as many companies want to see how eager you really are. Don’t sit back and wait, be proactive. Show them how much you want the job.
