i had an interview on Friday that went really well, they basically said i had the job, and that i would be hearing from them soon. how soon can i send a follow up e-mail, to say thanks for your time, i would like to know either way about the job, and let them know i can give more references if needed, blah blah blah. i was thinking tomorrow?

Send a follow-up email immediately. It’s usually recommended that you send a thank you within 24hrs of your interview. I’d go ahead and do it now. Good luck with the new job!

Right away on e-mail. Mail them a thank you letter as well the next day. Anything in the mail is amazing and show that you are interested in being a candidate.
