This is a good question – but very broad.
There are TONS of things you might need to open a website. However, here are the things I consider basics:
1. Domain name – about $10 per year
2. Your own server to host your website – about $10 – $20 per month
3. A nice looking site design.
Either you can do this yourself, if you know how. Or, you can find someone else to create it for you. Or, you can upload some other content management tool (like blogger, or wordpress, or joomla) onto your server. Today, you shouldn’t really get in the web game without a nice looking site design.
4. Good Quality Content – you have to put up writing, or audios, or videos to get yourself going and to get people interested in YOU.Truthfully, these are the essentials.
After that you can have several other features you may want to add.
– Forums
– ezines / autoresponders
– blogging tools
– shopping carts
– payment processing
And there are just tons of different things you can include. Some of these you may be able to add to your website yourself, and some of them you may need professional help. Adding these features can be impacted by how tech savvy you are, or by how important it is to build different types of community involvement at your site. There are many different variations and costs determining how you can add each of these features to you site.DIYezineGuy

The best bet for you right now is to get a company to do it for you. It won’t be cheap, but they wil handle everything. If you still do not want to get everything done for you, like you want some say in your Webhost and space and b/w etc, you can contact me for small prices with great designs and so on.
