Hi I recently passed a resume about 10 days ago and I want to follow up it by making a phone call to the company. Please help me make a script on what things to say and ask in my follow up phone call. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, this is ________ , I sent my resume in about a week ago and I just wanted to verify that you did receive it. (Hopefully here they say yes!) I am very interested in the position so I was just curious what the status of the hiring process was and when would be a good time for me to follow up again.
Thank them and remember to be relaxed, confident and respectful, don’t be pushy.
