can print out the person’s ISP address, the date and times they illegally entered your computer and the files they looked at, and what emails they monitored, or deleted from your computer? A complete printout that can be used in a civil lawsuit as proof that the ISP user did this?

Thanks

  1. For that type of information, the best place to start is your own PC. If you have a firewall with logging, such as ZoneAlarm or Comodo, and you make periodic backups of the logs, it will show the IP address of inbound connections that weren’t blocked. Depending on the firewall, it would also show what programs were sending data out during the same timeframe. The firewall will not show what files were accessed, but if you search your PC for modified files and can correlate the modifications with the activity logged in your personal firewall, that could be the basis for a case to get a subpoena of an ISP’s records.
