What is my SMTP name & Port #?   2 comments

I’m trying to configure anEmail Marketing Director program put out by Arial Software that runs on SMTP. I assumed my SMTP was: smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Is this correct? Also What is the port as I have tried 465, 587 & 25 with no luck. Unfortunetly the company will not help with email configuration issues.

  2. free yahoo mail server doesnt provide you POP access so you can use email clients with it
    to get around this
    you need to get Y pops or free pops and see if its compatible with your email client,

    if not get a gmail address
    the port varies on what program is controlling the traffic
