How can I use an autoresponder for my business email hosted by Yahoo?   1 comment

My software uses a cgi-bin folder. Yahoo doesn’t use these anymore so I created a folder and named it cgi-bin. I perhaps need to change the permissions on the .cgi files. How?I get a 500 internal server error when I try to use the autorespnder from my website.

How can I get a problem with Yahoo answered by a real person - I have had nothing but auto-responders?   5 comments

free auto responder
R S asked:

What I want (as many Yahoo customers are also wanting) is some communication from
Yahoo to try and resolve issues. I have had the following problem in trying to get a real issue resolved for more than three months.

I have used Yahoo Email for several years. I started with the FREE account and upgraded to Premium several years ago with the same Email address; Here24Hours@Yahoo.com

Over the past year I have not been satisfied with the Premium account (little or no help from Yahoo on reducing SPAM) and want to go back to the FREE account and have the same Email address as I started with; Here24Hours@Yahoo.com

I want to make this move ASAP but there is no provision in Yahoo on-line help
area on how to do this.

I have requested this information two times previously and yahoo has
not responded (the third time I received an auto responder that said I should go online and check out the FAQ). I do not want to go to the BBB or complain to the
public about your service but I really would like yahoo to help in getting back to
where I started with Yahoo.

If anyone can get this message through to a REAL PERSON at Yahoo support I would very much appreciate it!

Best regards,

Richard Stevens
