Are follow up emails acceptable-or annoying? And what would I say in a follow up email regarding an internship?   1 comment

I sent an email to a company I wish to intern at for the summer. I have not received a reply back for a little over a week now. I was wanting to send a follow up email but I don’t know what to say or whether or not it would be annoying to email again. Any suggestions?

How long should I wait before placing a follow up call after I applied for an internship? What do I say?   2 comments

I applied for an internship last Monday and I received a confirmation email saying they received my application and would contact me if they had any further questions or wanted to schedule an interview. So far I received another email from them or a phone call. Should I call to follow up? And what do I say?

What is the proper etiquette for follow-up to an application via e-mail?   1 comment

I applied for a job and an internship via e-mail one week ago today. I have not heard anything back, either a response that they received my emails, nor any email asking me for an interview or that they hired someone else? Can I email them a follow-up at this point?
